C. Circa 1910 Revised with notes by Rev. Geo. Fyler Townsend
Quote
"The world is three days: As for yesterday, it has vanished, along with all that was in it. As for tomorrow, you may never see it. As for today, it is yours, so work on it." - Traditional saying, often associated with "The Arabian Nights."
Note
"The Arabian Nights," also known as "One Thousand and One Nights," is a collection of Middle Eastern folktales, fables, and stories. The framing story involves a Persian king, Shahryar, who discovers his wife's infidelity and, consumed by anger, resolves to marry a new virgin each night and have her executed the following morning. Scheherazade, the vizier's daughter, volunteers to be the king's next bride.
